iOS has had multitasking since day one - it is inherent to the OS.

Task-switching is not multi-processing. In fact right now the most parallel things that can go on on an iOS device right now are Update/Music and executing some app.

• Music
• Location
• AirPlay
• VoIP (Voice Over IP)
• Push Notifications
