Those are just a few examples that prove that being first does not equate to being best-of-class.
The answer is no to pretty much all of that lol. But I’m more talking about the last few years. It seems like they’re always behind everyone else and such iterative releases from year to year.

I have a professional camera, but I don't want to carry a giant Canon 1DX with me everywhere. I want the best camera I can get that is always on me.

The cameras are nice enough. But that's not the reason why I ever pick up a new phone.

There either has to be some amazing new feature (folding iPhone, wrap-around screen, or some new capability that my current phone doesn't give), or there has to be massively expanded processing / storage / battery life, et cetera.

But my real problem is the camera bump. People keep asking for better and better cameras, but nobody's asking for a better shape to the phone. If you get cool cameras, fine, but all I want in exchange is the ability to lay down my phone flat on a table or against a pillow without going through the seven layers of hell.
