Apple is sponsoring a London concert that will feature Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals, the company announced on its Apple Music Twitter account this morning.

The one-night-only concert, hosted by Apple Music exec Dr. Dre, will take place on March 13, 2018 at O2 Academy Brixton, one of London's most popular music venues.

Tickets to the concert are free, and will be available starting on Friday, March 9 at 9:00 a.m. local time.

Anderson .Paak recently released his first new single since 2016, "Til It's Over." The song made its debut in Apple's new "Welcome Home" HomePod ad directed by Spike Jonze.

That’s actually pretty sweet; an old timer putting out what I would assume to be a pretty decent show.

I’m not a super fan of his music but I was at a venue once where he was performing and he did do a solid job on the show but. I enjoyed myself so the people of the UK should as well.

Edit - just read that Dre is “hosting” the concert. So with that, free is awesome but don’t have anything on how the show will go lol.

Lol. My thoughts now too. I had to do an edit as I “misread” the actual story hahha. Dre is only “hosting” the show; not performing in it.

The title makes it sound like Apple owns him.

Anderson .Paak is great. I love Come Down, and the new song from the HomePod ad is pretty amazing too.

Anderson. Paak is extremely talented, Dre did not discover him, but he was brought to my attention via Dre's Compton album since Paak is featured on a few tracks there. Say what you want about Dr. Dre, but the man has an ear for talent.

What could be better than a Dr. Dre concert to celebrate the international women’s day?

Maybe this is the replacement for the iTunes festival, a series of free concerts instead?

He definitely is. For the people already discrediting him off of a commercial song, I highly recommend his Malibu album.

    Wish I could attend!

Why do they let these bots do this? It’s ridiculous. What on Earth is going on with these ticketing companies?

I LOVE Anderson Paak so was gutted the bots won!!!

I was waiting for half an hour and the Ticketmaster loading page allowed me to try for tickets within 10 seconds.... By which time, they were gone.

    10 seconds. Great. Thanks.

"Apple's Dr. Dre" looks so weird.

Also, it looks like Dre is peeing in the boat.
