So now there's a Senior Vice President for 'Internet Software' and 'iOS Software' but no one for OS X or other applications?!

Steve is or was probably in charge of OS X applications or at least approving what OS X will look, feel, and come with.

These should come as no surprise. Steve Jobs knew that with his illness there would come a day when he would have to step back significantly and the multi-headed group would take over. He hand-picked these people so the transition should not be a surprise. Let's face it these guys have been probably playing a major role in running the show for the past year at least.

Serious Jonny Ive is serious.

With this promotion he should consult with a hairstylist.

And exactly what does his hair style have to do with his ability to perfom his new job? It sure looks a heck of a lot better than most at Apple.

When are you going to post you photo so we can see how yours looks?

This is the new Apple in the Post PC Era

So now there's a Senior Vice President for 'Internet Software' and 'iOS Software' but no one for OS X or other applications?!

Mac OS X & other Mac software seems to mean very little to Apple at the current time. Things like Final Cut X coming out as a very incomplete program for its normal market. Mac OS 10.7 Lion feels like iOS X wimpy house cat instead of a dominating large cat.

A picture is worth a 1000 words. An animated picture, on the other hand, is priceless (wordless?)

Eddy got the job???? Ok ... about a half dozen are really upset that the post-Steve shuffle went this quick. I give him six months before he is hired out of Apple.

Congrats Eddy!!!

Wouldn't be surprised to see another high level exec change/promotion in the near future.

Aside of pulling this out of your poop chute, do you have any logical reason to state that? Don't you think Apple has him on an options plan that vests only if he sticks around?
