I thought the very same question. A two month trial of AVP sounds too good to be true though?Does it apply to Vision Pro?

Edu discount is not stackable with bf gift cards. That’s good if you intend to buy something else from Apple with the gift card, but with cash discounts I can use the savings for whatever I want.
And look at the gift cards they offered last year. $200 gift card when buying a 16 inch M2 MBP. The deal this year will likely be the same but for an M3 MBP. So with the EDU discount, that’s a $300 discount. But if you go on Best Buy’s website, they have 16 inch M3 MBPs for $500 off. Which is $200 more.
Same with AirPods. The gift cards they offered last year were less in value than the sales occurring right now. They offered $50 for AirPods Pro, but Amazon had them $80 off right now.
That is a good catch. The way it is now barring if they didn’t forget to update the rules, the below page doesn’t have holiday returns.Anyone know if this applies to the education store? There doesn't seem to be mention of it at https://www.apple.com/us/shop/open/salespolicies/edu.
My link above goes to return and refund section of the education store, which has no holiday returns. So which is true do we know?Edit: That said, https://www.apple.com/us/shop/open/salespolicies/edu includes a bullet point: "For complete details on how to return a product purchased at the Apple Store please visit the Returns & Refunds page.", which links to the page with the Holiday Return Policy mentioned.
Education Store orders still have until Jan 8th, 2025 for returns. I just ordered $499 base Mini this morning and picked it up within an hour. When I click the "check return eligibility" on my order, it says:My link above goes to return and refund section of the education store, which has no holiday returns. So which is true do we know?
Do you mean you paid 450? Cause 499 mini would imply regular store with normal price and holiday returns included.Education Store orders still have until Jan 8th, 2025 for returns. Sorry, I forgot about that other mini.Ahh i am thinking about ipad mini for 450. Good to know thanks!
Sell them on eBay. You should be able to get at least $200 for each, especially since the battery health is likely very good since they’re unused, and especially if they’re unlocked.Edu discount is not stackable with bf gift cards.
Example: ipad mini 500-100gift card or straight edu pricing at 450. 450-100 is not allowed unfortunately.
I have 4 unused iPhone 12 that i can trade in at apple for 180(towards product) + 155x3 for gift cards. Unfortunately places like amazon don’t do tradeins and bestbuy only gives me 130ish.
From my earlier post #31 above, the screenshot specifically states you have till Jan 8th to start a return online or in store.but from what i understand, items can only be returned within those 60 days by shipping them, whereas returning them in-store still requires to be in 14 days , right ?
Yeah I’m waiting to see if this is includedstill no confirmation if Vision Pro is included in this or not. PLEASE TIM
ill check in the uk Apple StoreI bought an AVP in the US and the return date shows Jan 8th, so it is covered.
I also have a 2018 Intel MBP and am looking at finally upgrading it to a 16" M4 MBP. I'm not sure I see a scenario where I would not be happy with the new one versus the old one.Awesome! My 16" MBP that is with UPS is also covered by this. So that's great news I can get an extended period to test the device and decide if I need to swap to Nano or not. Or if I feel it isn't a good upgrade from my 2018 Intel MBP.
The performance differences I’ve read in all of the benchmarks and the battery life of my wife M1 agree that I won’t be wanting the Intel back.I also have a 2018 Intel MBP and am looking at finally upgrading it to a 16" M4 MBP. Right. Understand. From my perspective, I just tend to buy more than what I need and then find that those machines age more gracefully. The performance differences I’ve read in all of the benchmarks and the battery life of my wife M1 agree that I won’t be wanting the Intel back.
The bigger questions are all around the specs I ordered this round.
Did I overspend and can save some money downgrading the machine to a lower spec?
Do I need more storage this time around?
Mainly stuff related to making sure it fits the bill.
The extended return period will allow me to be a lot more sure than normal.
