Or we could do like Sweden, do basically nothing and let everyone gain immunity to it like any normal group of people would do.

1000 a day forever wouldn't be enough to notice without the media shoving it in your face constantly, basically begging you to panic over what amounts to (at most) the loss of taste for a week for 50% of people.
So, again, simply going with perception vs. reality.

They still have a lower death toll than most countries that went into these stupid mask wearing fits and lockdowns.
As in somewhat lower, per capita, than just a handful of countries but still higher than hundreds of other countries?

Even that aside, what's to say that those countries wouldn't have been even harder if it wasn't for some if not all the steps they took?

Sweden currently has the sixth highest death rate in the world (569 deaths per million population). Higher than the US and more than 12 times the death rate of their close neighbour Norway (47 deaths per million) that did take lockdown seriously.

Doesn't seem to be the case, nor does it seem to be that they did better in terms of deaths as was claimed earlier. Seems like the claims aren't holding up, even if they are being repeated.
