I might be fine with subscriptions, if the code worked correctly. I do have a problem paying a monthly subscription and getting crap code with bugs and usability failures. Particularly when it looks like the code was written by a young teenager in Bangladesh.

Gurman suggests the reorganization is being timed with Apple's plans to launch a new Health+ subscription service, which he first reported on in March. The offering is said to feature an AI assistant providing personalized recommendations on nutrition, exercise, and sleep. Apple plans to launch the new service next year.
Hey everyone! I heard from the Peaks developers that they’re creating a similar app that gives you health, fitness, and sleep tips. It’s called Whistle, and honestly, we don’t need another Apple Health app subscription! The AI suggestions are in beta, but you can download the TestFlight content from the developer’s website. Check it out below! 👇

You can even pair it with the Peaks app to create a routine and have structured days! Plus, Liquid Glass is supported!

Watch software and hardware going to Federighi and Ternus is good. Right now there’s no continuity in watchOS and hardware is 10 years old.

Health+ better be folded into the current Fitness+ price because there’s no chance I’m paying a dime more for Apple One.

This sounds very promising yes of course as a business extension but also helping keep people healthier(basically a win/win). Your iPhone/watch is with you 24/7 so it’s a perfect mechanism to keeping tabs on your vitals etc. the more I think about this the more I think this will be a game changer. Good luck Apple.

Google has been working on it for a while and will soon launch Fitbit Health Coach!

According to well-known sports gadget tester DCRainmaker, it is the best integration of AI in the sports sector he has seen so far.

I hope Apple's system will be just as good as Fitbit's: designed as a personal coach.

I follow DC Rainmaker pretty closely and haven't heard/seen him saying anything about it. Link?

Cue gets a lot of crap for seeming like a moron during those post-Jobs Apple keynotes, but if you read some of Gurman’s reporting, the guy is actually much bolder on Apple’s direction. He’s been reported to have wanted Apple to acquire Tesla and Netflix years ago and has pushed hard for Apple to buy more AI companies. Not sure how that’s going to translate to health and wellness, but Apple should at minimum expand its wearables to include a ring (Oura acquisition?) and a premium fitness tracker with a smaller footprint that people can wear with fancier watches and jewelry. This is a category Apple can completely own top to bottom with a more encompassing product portfolio.
“…has pushed hard for Apple to buy more AI companies. Not sure how that’s going to translate to health and wellness,…”

Will push hard to acquire your money, (or your kidney).

Pixel Watch 4 Launches with Satellite SOS: Hands-on!
This is further down in the section:

“NEW FITBIT APP WITH PERSONAL COACH:”
„…It was super impressive, by far one of the most impressive AI-driven sports/fitness things I’ve seen to date (and I’ve seen a lot of crappy implementations thus far)…“

Just a note with all the change in reporting.
Tim Cook not leaving before 20th anniversary of the iPhone and in all probability a few years later after Apple glasses and a couple more new products are released
