Is anyone in the middle of downloading their Apple Music from iCloud, too?

It’s a good thing I only use my iCloud email as a spam account and I keep my music local. I did take some pictures of disturbing behavior on the bus and they synced up to my other devices. So apparently the issue is fixed.

1. iCloud Backup, Mail, Web Apps, Photos have now been resolved.

I am not affected as far as I can tell, but I had to spend an hour on the phone with my Mom trying to figure out why she was getting error messages. To some of the cynical commenters here, is this really a common occurrence? I rarely have any problems with iCloud or Apple services.

People won't complain until there's something to worry about. Then there's an inherent bias that appears. I haven't had this problem for a very long time. It's bound to happen, just like it did with Amazon web service and Facebook web - software, servers can never be perfect, y'all.

As for these outages, they are rare. Amazon just had two weeks of outages and half the internet stopped functioning. 100% uptime is not possible. These things happen.

Yep. Apple engineering is supposed to call me tomorrow. This is super annoying.

Try it now. It seems to be finally fixed. I’m not sure if this roll-out patch is widespread or if it’s in intervals. (1:31 AM central time.)

iCloud hasn't improved in years.

May I suggest pcloud Twice a year you can purchase the product at half price. I have used pcloud for years with no issues.

Can't get back in on this iMac... D'oh!

Fortunately I have other Macs to access my iCloud email on, and I'm not trying any of my bright ideas on them!

Fortunately for me it won’t even allow me to log out of iCloud.
