1. Exploding phones
2. Samsung fabricating their moon photos
3. Samsung adding Chinese spyware to their devices
4. Let’s not forget Samsung early galaxy literally ripped off iPhones and they got sued for it lmao.

Need i go on?

But because im petty

5. The entire Android platform is incredibly fragmented. How is it that there are more devices running old versions than the current version and the new version is also around the corner lmao.

6. Googles privacy is a huge issue to this day

7. Googles unfair monopoly in search as well as chrome and others

8. The fact Google launches a product and literally abandoned them (plus, hangout, allo etc etc)

9. Motorolas poor update promises and back tracking

10. Google forcing ppl to use pixels and threatening termination. If they don’t.

I can go on and on and on and even break it down by OEMs if necessary.
Apple ripped off Android/Samsung phones way more. Here are just a few importand examples: large screens, OLED, NFC, wireless charging, USB-C port, fast charging, split screen and pen support (for now - only on the tablets, they need to keep ripping off).

Don't forget icons on the home screen and moving them where we want them. In fact all IOS customizations has been copied from Android. Now rumor is Apple is making a folding phone......another copy from Android phone makers....

As you say. Anyhow, I see that I cannot a match a syllogist of your caliber. Rarely have I seen anyone use argumentum ad lapidem with such vigor.
I think your age shows on this forum with how you debate facts and data.....
On the ignore list you go....nothing to see or hear from you that is worth reading.....
But it was fun watching you get suspended for a couple of weeks a while back
Indeed. You can't win an argument against someone who has mastered the god-level invincible ignorance fallacy.

I think I'll follow your lead.👍👍👍👍

If we are being technical your arguments are weak

1. The dell streak was released before the galaxy note so if you’re accusing apple of copying someone know what you’re talkings about.

2. I’ll give this one. Though while Samsung did create this, it was Nokia who made it mainstream but okay. And if was nfk Android related.

3. Let’s talk about nfc. That’s also not an android related thing.

The first phone with nfc capabilities was the Nokia c7 from 2007.

Android got the nfc in September 2011

But since we are talking about nfc
, Apple Pay is significantly better than google pay. Samsung pay. Etc.

Next.

4. The palm pre which I owned and miss webos actually was the first phone with wireless charging.

Not android.

Next.

5. Apple didn’t copy anyone for following the industry Standard.

They were fine with lighting. Yall and the eu whines for usb c.

Next.

6. It took you six tries. You finally won one.

7. Ooh you got another one. Kind of.

Who knew the Kyocera echo would be getting some love in 2025. Terrible phone but it was actually the first dual screen phone. Came out in 2011.

You know a phone is terrible when the company literally has to put an extra battery in the box 🤣😂

which you can argue samsung onky
Got the idea from Apple iPads being popular.

8. Pen support-

you got 3 good job.

Now let’s talk Android and others ripping off Apple.

1. Google copied apples air drop (and it’s still terrible)

2. Google copied apples low power mode feature

3. Google and everyone copied Face ID and facial recognition in Android is still Crap

4. Apple introduced AR before Google (to be fair Google did refine it but still)

5. Do not disturb is definitely Apple first

6. Technically Apple got this from web os but Apple was the first to get rid of the home button for gestures and Android later copied

7. Apple got rid of the headphone jack that Samsung mocked and later did the same thing.

8. To compete with iMessage, Google has tried and failed several times to create a similar program and failed.

9. Swipe to type actually originated on iOS by default before Android without 3rd party

10. Notification badges on iOS before Android

11. Samsung blatant rip off of iPhones in the early days

12. Memojis vs Animojis on Android

13. Apples notch that they were mocked for and then Android OEMs copied.

14. Which also apples Dynamic Island that Android OEMs copied

15. Apple was the first to use multitouch in a smartphone.

16. Xioami was a blatant copy of Apple iOS and they literally model their phones after iPhone

17. I can find several Android phones that copy iPhone design language

18. Siri even if you hate it debut way before Google covid assistant lol

19. Apple Music over YouTube music. Spotify wins but Apple Music trumps YouTube music.

20. Google copied Apple with find my devices

I can go on and on.

Translation: I have no way to actually rebuttal an argument.

Glad you know your SAT words
okay bud but your arguments aren't much better. the point is that you don't get to state your opinions as facts. which is what you've been doing intentional or not.

a fact is saying a redmi note has more ram than a pixel 9a. an opinion is saying an iphone user experience is better than a samsung one. get it?

The thing that keeps me in the Apple ecosystem is how well integrated things are and how easy it allows me to stay in touch with family members. My mom would be lost if she had to fumble with different messaging and video apps. It all being integrated seamlessly without additional downloads, accounts or settings to configure is invaluable and apple knows this. We tend to pay a premium for this, but there is a large enough market that agrees to those terms.

Yeah Apple AI and other tools are sorely lacking compared to the others, but as long as those are 'good enough' Apple should be fine. Hell anyone owning an iPhone could tell you how bad Siri has been for 10+ years now in comparison to other tools, but that feature alone lagging behind isn't enough to get us to move away.

these comparisons are largely pointless, people will buy into whichever ecosystem they or people around them are already invested into.

Could be a comparison between a 16e vs s25 ultra, and even if the ultra was the same price as the 16e; most apple users are still going to buy the 16e

So you’re going to claim Android is popular and you’re not even aware of these basic statistics?
So in other words....you have no proof to back up your statement. You state you POV as fact with no data to back it up...
Again please provide proof....

I'm not doing research for you. You can look up the data any time you want. Once I learn something, it becomes my knowledge, and I share it. I'm not citing where I learned it every time I repeat it. If you care that much, or are that taken back by something you didn't know, you are free to look it up any time you want. It is rather common knowledge to anyone who has paid attention to smartphone sales for the last 2 decades.

It isn't my opinion. I'm relaying factual information. You're welcome to look it up any time you want. What you believe or don't believe is not my problem.
LOL...so 50% of the time 90% of the people who buy phones, 75% of the time prefer what 100% of the people living in the most populated 60% countries within the demographic uses 80% of the smartphones in 100% of the countries that have smartphones. yeah.......that is as factual as you stating your opinion as fact with no data to back it up.....
Then telling anyone who asks for your data....for them to go look it up :D

In the end, the Google Pixel 9a is a really nice phone, but I wonder will it work with the cellphone frequencies used in Europe and eastern Asia and particularly will it work with the Australian cellphone networks now that Australian telecoms have turned off 2G/3G support?
