iPhone 8/Plus Apple's iPhone 8 marketing

Anyone else a little confused by the iPhone 8 slogan being "A New Generation of iPhone".

This isn't a criticism of the 8 (or X) - both phones are great - but I just don't get that choice of marketing, isn't that exactly the opposite of what iPhone 8 is? It's the best of what is now the old generation of iPhone. Very odd choice of words that doesn't describe what the iPhone 8 is AT ALL.

Don't forget the 'Completely redesigned' claim as well 🙂
They should have marketed it as
"A brand new Iphone...
For those in the Comfort zone.." !!

For good reason, there’s really no reason to actually buy it. It’s a 7 with a glass back and a faster processor. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles that the 8+ or X have.
