Lol at the iZombies

Lol at the VWzombie.

Having worked in TV for 20 years, it's clear most are bull. But some people are also easy only led. And well you could have 5 people being idiots and where are the 100 other interviews if people saying 'er... No it's not'

Not shown are the literally hundreds of people who saw the thing, saw the Casio logo on the front, or knew Apple hadn't released an iWatch yet, and said "no it's not."

There's a reason they kept showing clips of the same small handful of people. They didn't have that many clips to choose from in editing their piece.

You can also ask people where Alaska is and you will get some people saying in the middle of the ocean. I live in New York and I have came across people who didn't realize Manhattan was an island. People in general are stupid.

Possibly stupid, but more likely just ignorant. ;)

Wow. Fooled by an Apple sticker. Really?

Kimmel once again showed how blind and stupid some Apple users can be.

Well done lol

Apple Computers is having a good week...

I love it when entertainers read jokes and talk about things as if they know what they are talking about, but are just reading someone else's lines. I wish Apple Computers all the best... until Apple Inc. sues them for trademark infringement that is:D

I would be surprised. Apple would never want to associate its brand with rubbish like that...

Apple has some very deep connections in Hollywood. That "of course they are not" response you and others state is perfect cover for them to do this.

"I see L.A. as a beautiful blonde with dirty underwear." -- David Boreanaz

I am still a little bitter about buying an LC II

Because Apple repeatedly puts out very good stuff relative to the competition and they have come to expect it from Apple. [/B].

That's what makes you a lifelong fan of companies like Apple...

And that's what makes for a long lasting brand... not marketing..

Cringe worthy to be honest but it goes to show you the base Apple has built with its fans. They would buy anything Apple makes.

Actually this video just show how completely stupid people are... The interviewer even made it very obvious that it was not an Apple watch... why would someone hand you and Apple watch and ask if you like the feature that it shows date and time? the way she asks is even like come on dont be stupid and realize that im this is not a apple watch (You can hear it in her voice) please dont be so stupid!

People will believe anything they are told... doesnt matter that its apple, story would work with any company... put a porsche emblem on a VW beetle, tell them its the new porsche Beetle and people will beleive you.... Could have been an android label on the back of the watch and the android users would think it was an android watch...

I like Kimmel's show but these segments are so dumb. The interviewees just play along and the joke gets pretty old pretty quick. They even showed one of the interviewees "breaking" one time, saying, "Oh I thought we were supposed to play along!"

So they are claiming that these are apple products.. do they have permission to use the logo? get ready to be sued.. maybe that will make you think again before trying to take the mick.

Hope they suffer.

Huh? Exactly what would Apple sue for?

Anyway, you're allowed to engage in parody.

The most annoying is they picked a 35 years old casio watch from the '80 and people will say again - yeah, that's a normal brand new casio watch from today. Because that's how casio watch are. Cheap plastic $20 things.

Perhaps the fault lies with Casio because they keep producing and selling these ones calling them "classic".

Jimmy is great and he does make some good points but the best part is people believed them, it ranks you there with other pranks like the Jurassic Park pic that was released a few weeks ago.

I probably won't be buying one, not worn a wrist watch in years, who needs one with your trusty iPhone? Haven't bought an iPad either but I do have a new iMac and been using Mac's since the early 90s.

Since Apple doesnt have a habit of just throwing *** against the wall to see what sticks

You mean like the Newton, eWorld, Pippin, the original Final Cut Pro X, iPod Hifi, the PowerMac Cube, Macintosh TV, Apple TV, puck mouse. No Apple never throws **** against a wall.

Nothing wrong with those watches. Nothing at all.

Anybody notice the spy lady from Samsung creeping around in the background filming with her red-case camouflaged Galaxy phone?

Also, a shout-out to the bearded guy who looked like Jim Dalrymple!

That was Apple Computer Inc., not Apple Inc.; two different companies.

Failure is not the same as "throwing **** against a wall". I'm not sure I would classify any of those that way, maybe the Mac TV. Apple TV and Newton certainly not. FCPX was a release of an unfinished product, stupid in a different way.

A product that isn't a mass market success isn't the same thing as a low quality product. And the newton, cube, and Apple TV were/are in fact great products even if not runaway sellers.

Apple fans who don't know that the iWatch doesn't exist?

FCPX was not only unfinished but going in the wrong direction. Boom, now everyone's using Adobe Premier instead.

----------

Why would they NOT script it? They'd get more satisfactory reactions if it were scripted. Most people would believe it, and people like me would think that it's scripted even if it wasn't, so there's no point in making it unscripted.

This is quite good showing that it is worth to use billions in marketing. People are so easy to fool with hype.
