Apple's M2 Mac mini has a few notable discounts today on Amazon, with up to $109 off select versions of the computer. You can get the 256GB M2 Mac mini for $499.00, down from $599.00, and no coupon is required to see this deal.

The 512GB M2 Mac mini is available for $689.99 when you clip the on-page coupon, down from $799.00. Both of these are solid second-best prices on the Mac mini, and just about $10-$20 higher than the all-time low prices we've tracked in the past.

Note: You won't see the deal price until checkout.

Apple updated this Mac mini back in January 2023, marking the first big update to the lineup since the introduction of the M1 models in 2020. The 2023 models feature Apple's M2 and M2 Pro chips, but no major external design changes. As of writing, we aren't tracking any deals on the M2 Pro Mac mini.

Keep up with all of this week's best discounts on Apple products and related accessories in our dedicated Apple Deals roundup.

is there anything from apple thats not discounted these days?

Wheels still cost $200 more than mac mini - the wheels must be built on TSMC's top secret 1nm process:

8Gb of RAM for the $499 one! Bwahahaha
Why are they even offering this? Nothing should come with 8Gb RAM any more. What a ripoff. MacRumors is not doing anyone a favor by posting this discount.

The next iteration M3 should come standard with 16Gb. Something tells me it wont though and will be another $200-$300 to upgrade it.

I must be strong, and wait for the M4 gen to upgrade my old Mac mini. I feel it will feel like a much bigger upgrade, and fully ready for the AI features.

Yep, most probably, just like the M3 MacBook “Pro”.
I guess we’ll have to wait for the M4 gen to see a general upgrade in base RAM all over the Mac lineup, especially if they want the new AI features to work flawlessly going forward in the future.

Clearing out M2 Mac Mini inventory ahead of the M3 Mac Mini launch that may be coming in March?

I hope so. My ancient home theater mini needs the performance kick. It morphed over the years into doing full PC duty, in the living room. I was very happy with the boost from my MBP upgrade to M3 Pro. I want that effortless, smooth operation from all my devices.

Please, please Apple: do not do something weirdly "innovative" that makes it unfit for purpose. Same form factor, M3 Pro, mission accomplished.

Apple is polluting the environment with all these 8GB Macs. 8GB that people will quickly outgrow or they will think Macs are not good and just go back to Windows.

256GB SSD is also too small nowadays. 512GB minimum for me.
Anyhoo, I recycle my old MBPs instead. They are good even to act as media servers etc and have the added bonus of having a built in battery backup. My current media server is the first gen Touch Bar MBP from 2012. Still going strong after 11 years. Crazy to think that it has lasted that long.
I'd rather spend money on a new laptop than on a mini that has limited SSD and RAM space.

But who makes the most profitable computers? 💰💰💰

The fastest path to a 16GB standard is getting consumers as a group to choose to keep their money instead of buying 8GB Macs. Else, Apple can know exactly what you are saying but are thoroughly rewarded for NOT doing it in the most tangible measure.
