Apple's "It's show time" media event will be kicking off at 10:00 AM Pacific / 1:00 PM Eastern today, and some MacRumors readers who can't follow the event live are interested in avoiding all of the announcements and waiting until Apple posts the recorded video of the event so as to experience it without already knowing the outcome.

For those individuals, we've posted this news story, which will be updated with a direct link to the presentation once it becomes available from Apple. No other news stories or announcements will be displayed alongside this story.

Apple has become quicker about making event videos available for replay over the past several years, and videos are now frequently available within an hour of an event's conclusion.

Users waiting for the video to be posted are welcome to gather in the thread associated with this news story, and we ask that those who follow the events refrain from making any posts in the thread about Apple's announcements.

Update: The full event video is now available on Apple's website.

even if someone isn't keen on getting involved with another monthly $ubscription, the rumor build up to this service over the last several months certainly makes today's presentation a curiosity...

Even if I really were invested in the idea of an Apple News suscription and an Apple streaming service, the chances of any of both launching in Europe are almost zero.

If their content is going to be highly filtered I’m not even going to bother. I have no interest in sjw approved jokes and comedies or reality tv for idiots.
You honestly have to wonder if a show like The Office could be made today -- one of the greatest comedies ever created. What a sad time.

The Office is the most streamed show on Netflix, so that should tell you what folks actually want and enjoy. Things are funny BECAUSE they are uncomfortable or offensive. There's a clear difference between making a joke and actually being hateful, but these pea-brained execs (and many citizens in our country today) are unable to comprehend the difference.

Maybe I'm not so bothered that my iPad is too old to get the live stream.

I'll check the site later, just to check they haven't thrown in any device announcements.

No negativity, but even Macrumors must not have been that excited for this event, they didn’t do the countdown timer like they have for past keynotes.

I think this event represents a shift in The Apple that we are familiar with. In days past new hardware would have been the star of the show. It seems as if Apple is trying to convince investors that it is now more than a hardware/software company, and it’s leaning heavily into the services category. I would prefer Apple to take on Netflix not through original content, but through a platform of organizing content. I want to subscribe to things that interest me, and hide all the other garbage (which Netflix is constantly trying to shove in my face).

It was so good they made it twice. The remake wasn’t as enjoyable as the original, but they rarely are.

There’s no shift going on. Rather it’s an illusion to get you to stop focusing on flat hardware sales.

I know googles increase in what they pay to be default search got people giddy about services. But Apple is hardware first and foremost.

Let’s keep in mind Apple is over a billion in the hole producing original content. This will only get worse if they’re even remotely serious about this. They’ll never get enough sustained subs to profit from this.
