Exactly. But Apple did lower their prices during 2009-14. So wait with your purchases til some other year :)
In Sweden iPhone Pro with 2TB is 3100 USD.
$3,100 is insane. Why does it cost so much more in Sweden? The 2TB iPhone 17 Pro Max costs 2,449€ in Germany (taxes included), which is about $2,850 (with Taxes included). Still a lot more than in the U.S., where it costs $1,999 before taxes. In Germany, the iPhones (excluding the 2TB version) cost the same as in previous years. But considering the euro has gained a lot of value against the dollar over the past 12 months, Apple really should have lowered the price, like they did some years ago.

The 17 Pro starts at $1,600 in Canada!

I don’t mean to offend anyone, but if you aren’t earning 6 figures and you spend that on a phone, you should be put in a straight jacket and locked in a padded room.

I have shot lots of photos and video with 15 pro max and 256GB along with 200 iCloud storage has been more than enough space.
Me too. My photos alone are 450GB.

That’s not even counting when I use the Blackmagic App, which I offload regularly.

That’s why they make different storage sizes for different people. If I were to upgrade my 15 Pro this year I might’ve gone to 2TB, but I’m not getting an even bigger phone to do it. Hopefully when they have a feature I need, they’ll have 2TB in the normal-size Pro.

All of that said, for most people 256GB is fine. 512 would’ve been a better base for Pros though.

The pricing seems to be ok. Much better than expected. However there is a small increase in my country probably due to weaker local currency. Planning on getting the 17 Pro Max.
