Thanks for the link $10 bucks a month to send cards your nuts. But just because you are first does not mean you will not have competition. I am sure you are not the first third party card mailer. Also $2.99 is cheap, and that stock looks awesome and they ship with delivery conformation and that means the shipping is over a dollar.

I for one can't wait to use cards. This will make me less forgetful around birthdays and holidays, and I won't feel as bad because I'll have Siri to remind me!!

Why didn't they just do an "E-Card" app. I know its a bit impersonal but probably more "Fun" and less hassle.
 
I tried installing before the upgrade and got a you need iOS5 message. After FINALLY getting the upgrade installed I sent three cards in 5 minutes. They shipped at one day intervals over three days. That tells me that in a minute or two they were getting a full days production worth of orders. Another $100 million+ in profit for Apple.
