Interesting to note that the most sold desktop is the sole non-SSD Mac, in the standard configurations.
I really hope Apple addresses this in the next update.

No, they didn't. Please go back and look at MacWorlds presented by Steve: he constantly compared Apple's prices to comprable PC's... and sometimes the Apple products were better priced. It's in the last 7-ish years that Apple has gotten more and more insane in their pricing, culminating in the utterly ridiculous release of the Mac mini today. I would ask if Tim & Co. are ashamed of themselves, but they have no shame.

Except they did

Did those clowns learn nothing from their founder?

That's funny because their 1/3 found (Jobs; recall Apple is founded by 2 Steve's and one other guy who sold out too early).

MBA was a novelty item that their holding onto. It's been beaten by the Pro's in terms of thickness in early 2018 and now matched. But beaten by the MacBooks. It's in it's own 5th quadrant.

The Air should NOT exist in 2018.
Storage, size, resolution of screen is beaten (low end) by MacBook.
MacBook should've been phased out and the Air should've taken it's name due to the 2 USB-C ports.

"With the updating of the Mac mini and MacBook Air this morning, here's a list of the wide range of Macs that Apple offers, from the new $799 mini"

That only has 128GB. You must be kidding me.
I have a 1TB Sata SSD in my mac mini now.
How do they expect me to transfer over to a 128GB SSD?
The price upgrade to a 1TB PCIE SSD is $800.
This is one of those cases where I don't need speed but more storage.
SATA SSDs are plenty fast for my uses.

Apple has really priced and designed themselves out of the market with this mac mini.
All they really needed to do was update the processors and GPU on the current motherboard and get us back to replaceable memory.

T2 security chip? What for? Just an added expense in my opinion.
