X is close, not delete.I’m surprised Alan Dye didn’t convince them to change the return key to a tick and the delete key to an x
I live in the US and I already use those.I applaude, next step for the US consumers: use Meter, Kilogram and Celsius 🙂

Not sure it’s just aesthetic. Putting glyths there means they can use the same keyboard in more markets.Aesthetic choice, subjective of course.
Your tall return key looks as weird to me as the non-stacked arrow keys on my old PowerBook. The tiny enter [return - why?] key is still tripping me out on the US keyboard

The option key was never alt. Alt is a PC term. Macs only ever had an option key. They added the text to option, command and control a few (well, maybe more than a few) years ago in Europe. Never liked it. The "option" key was "alt" before and I refuse to change. It is called control, alt and command. Nothing else.
Yes. Just leave my customary units alone for the road, and we are all set!American already uses metric. All healthcare, science, and the majority of military/government are 100% metric, and all kids are taught it in elementary school.
