Apple is a classy company who doesn't have to stoop into Crapsung levels. LOL

Apple's bringing their A Game back. I like.
It's unfortunate the bar is set so very low now.

So powerful that I still can't attach a document to an existing email chain.

Apple TV ads don't have a lot of brightness in them. They have dark backgrounds, generally low light, etc. Contrast that with Samsung TV ads. They're very bright. I kinda like bright.

That was the most impressively mundane way to bring Samsung into the comments I've ever seen.

If this is all about the power of the iPhone 5s, is something preventing these apps from working sufficiently on other devices? I think not...

It's a pretty good ad, and I like the sentiment because I think most people have these powerful phones and only do basic tasks on them like Facebook, photos, and messaging. But they should spend more time fixing the App Store so that people don't need to be told in an ad what's in the store. The App Store continues to be the single-worst part of the Apple ecosystem.

Translation :

Apple : Please people, buy iPhone 5S's now , we need to run down stock before we announce the 6 and want to get as much money as we can for these before we have to sell them off "cheap"

No not really, every iPhone can run these apps, it's more like ''Hey people your iPhone can do almost everything and you use it for taking selfies and watching funny cat videos''

Waiting to see this analysis!

Good commercial!

Wonder what app was used to "launch amateur rockets"?
Likely with some device.

Swing and miss. The point isn't the app store. Its what in the app store which average joe may not know about.

There's a rocket launch app in the App Store? The only legitimate app this told me about was the heart rate monitor, which I don't see any use for anyway.

Hmm, I recognize some of the people in this ad.

The Ad is good!!

Apple today unveiled a new section on its website dedicated to the "Powerful" ad that made its prime time television premiere on Tuesday. The commercial promotes the message that with the capabilities of the iPhone 5s "You're more powerful than you think."

The accompanying website continues this "Powerful" theme that promotes the iPhone 5s as having the power "to create, shape, and share your life. The power to do everyday things in extraordinary ways, and to do extraordinary things every day." The new page includes both a high-definition version of the television commercial as well as links to all the apps showcased in the advertisement. The apps include Star Walk [iTunes], Instant Heart Rate [iTunes], Word Lens [iTunes], AmpliTube [iTunes], Luminair [iTunes] and Pacific Rim [iTunes].

The "Powerful" ad features "Gigantic" by the Pixies [iTunes] playing in the background while iPhone 5s owners use their iPhone to play music, create art and even launch amateur rockets. This new television advertisement follows the company's earlier "Your Verse" campaign that showcases how individuals are using the iPad in amazing ways.

I'm aware of the workaround. Self described "powerful" tools shouldn't need workaround for something as basic as Reply All and insert document.

Touché...the biggest ire I have with Apple software. "**** folders and files, just stay in our Eco-system and do things our way and it will be allllllll right"

You've read Mr. Jobs' emails before, punchy and thread ending. Why keep a chain going?

Being able to look for and attach a file to an email shouldn't be a privilege, and I hope it doesn't sound like I was defending the lack of ability to do so. Your comment just struck me as a little OT.

Hai. It's the fact that Apple invented the smart phone and software marketplaces, and therefore spurred an environment which lured developers to take advantage of the aforementioned to make money... but foremost, enabling us through powerful apps to make lives easier.

Yep, I lined up for the iPhone 5 and I'm going to line up for the iPhone 6. iSheep 4 life.

I appreciate having a place where I can identify an app I see in the commercial. I've often found myself searching the app store to find an app that I only know a screen image or icon.

Has no one found the name of the model rocket launching app?

Well, I thought I was a google pro, but I have been defeated. I just spent 30 minutes looking everywhere I could think of to find the name of the model rocket launching app shown on the commercial, but to no avail.

Has anyone else found out what it's called? Estes has a rocket app, but it doesn't launch rockets. There are a whole bunch of "rocket" and "launch" apps for the iPhone, but they don't have anything to do with the actual launching of model rockets.

Still looking, but wish that Apple would simply put out a list of names of apps that they feature in a nation-wide commercial.

The heart rate thing is clever but the social aspect of the app is weird.
I don't want people knowing what my heart rate is and then guess about what activities I'm doing to raise said rate...

My dox are all in my OneDrive, so can always copy a link to clipboard ^_^

Have you tried sending a document via new email and then copying the attachment? It's a bit round-about but works fine for other attachment types...

While this works and I agree, this isn't the 1990's..... the email app is absolutely rubbish :(
