It's silly to think that the Apple watch is the last wearable from apple.
The next Apple wearable will be on your wrist, but not where the watch is (Near the Palm).
It will be a bigger version that attaches to your lower arm, something you can quickly glance at like the watch. Doing everything the Apple watch can't do, like quickly browse the web, or send an email.
Just like the Apple watch was the iPhone of wearables, the new 'Apple Band' will be the iPad of wearables.
The Apple watch is killer because of the 'always-present' feeling of the device. Able to quickly and instantly communicate with people, always.
The Apple Band will be 4"-7" that is "always present" that will probably wrap a bit on your wrist, allowing you to browse, surf, and run higher caliber apps - which will shoot productivity through the roof.
You've seen it in the sci-if movies. No one really wants to carry a 'device' when they want quick access to information instantly. Especially if they are on the field when it can take a few seconds to take a device out of a backpack or storage. Not to mention carrying it.
Imagine if you will, you see a interesting bug, you simply glance at your wrist, Apple Band wakes the screen, and your ready to explore the limitless information of the Internet. Instantly you can identify the bug with a quick search. All with just a movement of the wrist. No fumbling with a device.
Much like the Apple watch made our lives easier by putting some phone and fitness functions on the wrist, another wearable will come to do the same but with iPad/iPhone level productivity.
And the only place I could think of could naturally go is the wrist.
When the tech is right and cheap, this will be our next iPad.
Rough idea without the :Apple: elegance:
