What, like the iMac Pro? :p
Ha no the 9900k is a weird release from Intel in the fact it’s a consumer grade chip that is ridiculously good. I work 90% in After Effects, which favours higher clock speeds over cores so an iMac Pro is no use for me (apart from when I do 3D or video editing). I can put together a brand new Windows rig for £2000 that will have the 9900k. If Apple released a Mac with one, I’d happily pay Apple tax to get one but I do feel it’s overlapping too much with the iMac Pro.

And the apple website is still up and running???!!! Humm..

Not sure why Apple can't schedule this at 1PM EST like they always do when it's on the West Coast? We're used to these times for keynotes. Maybe MS is scheduled an event at 1PM in the same building.

Attention people that would rather watch an entire two hour presentation instead of just seeing the highlights: please message me , I have several meetings you can attend on my behalf.

+1 :) I also don't really understand. I used to watch the video stream while doing something else. But lately I just skip it. There's only so much "Amazing", "Refined", "Exquisite", I can hear in an hour. Just a bunch of press releases with all the crap filtered is much more easily absorbed. The last one contained so much filler with these presentations from developers. And it's not a recent thing either; I remember cringing when they spent 45 minutes discussing some new theme in iLife :')

But still, I like having the video to watch the parts about the stuff I'm really interested in. That's why I bookmark this topic.
