Newbie here:eek:

Is Apples 'One to One' worth paying for?

Im about to buy my first Mac Book, coming from MS laptops. I obviously have videos & photos to transfer from my MS laptop which One2One could help with, but would I be better spending that money on hardware upgrades instead, such as extra RAM?

It is not bad and especially for a 1st time mac owner; however, back in the day I learned a ton on this site through the forums and guides alone. How do you learn best? If you're better interacting then pay for the service.

like jessica said you can learn a huge amount here, the community here isn't going anywhere.

my guess would be if you can post here then you don't need it.
