It's not up. I don't know why some people say it is, but I bet if they looked closely, they'd realize that the items they CAN find are all out of stock. The 'categories' pages (Mac, iPad, etc.) are blank, except for three featured items--all of which are out of stock.

No, once I finally got the page to show correctly, everything I clicked on shows "in stock". Like I said, I had to login to my account first before I was even able to see anything in the store.

Canada too

Checked both US and Canada refurb stores and both list 3 Macs, but when you select then they are "out of stock". iPad doesn't even list any.

Edited: Yes, if you login, they suddenly appear in stock.

For the heck of it, I just tried the iOS Apple Store app. It's interesting that there Apple omitted any mention of refurbished products. You can buy new only.

The US and Canadian where down for me yesterday at one point.

Does anyone know where I can find an a list of prices for the refurbished macs even when they are out of stock? It's nice to be able to compare when I'm buying used from Craigslist.

Try http://www.refurb.me/ you can toggle on/off items in stock only.

I just looked at the store and only the refurb ipad section is down and says no products available. All other refurbs say they are in stock. Apple is maybe doing some repricing? :apple:

AU Store - 2 days ago they had very little, 2 laptops I think. But right now they have a wide range including from all lines. About the only thing not on the list is the Apple Displays.

Haven't had an issue at all here for the US refurb store. I was actually looking at it yesterday as well and it was fine.

Fine for me, as well.

Working fine for me as well in the US refurb store. I see a healthy selection of refurbished Macs and looked specifically at the 3.2GHz Mac Pro and it says it ships within 3-5 days.

I'm on OSX 10.6 using Firefox 13.0.1 if that makes a difference.

Working for me ....

There is an error on the apple site they are working on now, until the error is fixed use the following link that works to get you to the refurb mac store
http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/mac is working link

I still get nothing with that link.

3 days for me. Chrome, Safari, IE from 2 different locations, different computers, different OS's. It does work when I try through Safari on the iPhone.

Also tried www.refurb.me and it also shows nothing in stock. :( :|

Sucks for those who trying to buy refurbs. But maybe they can go to an Apple store and place the order from there?

For everyone else who is checking daily but not in the market (read: has no intentions of actually buying right now)... well who cares!

or just call them to place the order. at least thats what i would do. the refurb store is showing up without a problem for me, but it does appear that they are out of some things like minis and iPads. i wonder if its a glitch or if they're changing something on the refurb site.

I just did a chat session with a sales person on the :apple: website. This is what they said:

"Right now the site is not reflecting the right stock when it comes to refurbished. So what you want to do is give our sales team a call, they can check stock and if there is one you want, they can place that order for you."

"The number for our MacExpert department is *1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753)."
