Yes it does just like the silicone cases, But I’m returning because it’s slippery and is open on the bottom instead of just having holes cut for the speakers/mic/lightening port

lenses are pretty hard to scratch given their hybrid sapphire coating. I don’t use a case and have never scratched them so unless you’re setting it down on some serious stuff which you probably shouldn’t be then it’s not an issue.

They went back to that non sense? I hate it, that's how I scratched the back of one of my iPhones in the past in the first place because all the small debris would get into the case from the bottom and then rub nicely between the back of the phone and the case

Slippery? That's bad news. I hoped for something like most plastic cases (read: not slippery at all). Well, I hope Otterbox releases something Magsafe-capable and non-black (to avoid overheating when shooting video in sunshine).

Yup. However, deep cases like Otterbox Defenders (the ones I've exclusively used until now; too bad there's no Magsafe-compliant Defenders) also help me in avoiding touching (and smearing) the lens by mistake, they're THAT deep.

I have now also Googled for "Clear Case with MagSafe slippery" and found this:
A lot of other people are complaining of these same issues (1, being slippery 2, being open at the bottom)

EDIT: now that I've found a LOT more threads & videos on this issue, BIG thanks for "treyhunnid" for pointing this issue out - he saved me 60 euros / a BIG disappointment / losing time while another case arrives.

I'm also returning mine. The buttons are far too hard to press for me. Any other clear case recommendations?

Guys, any experience with the light-green (agaave?) case? It's sufficiently light-colored so that my phone won't overheat in sunlight during lengthy videoing sessions. (The other light-colored, that is, overheating-avoiding option would have been pink. Not for me (male), I'm afraid :) ) Does it offer signiciantly better grip than the clear case?

yea I checked out the clear case and way to slippery.... which is the light-green case? I could not figure out which type of material it is?

The clear case with open bottom caused me to scratch the bottom of my íphone 13 pro max last year……never again…….got the Umber leather case this year……….we will see
My wife’s 13 Pro in a Speck clear case is mint! Ordered me one this year also!

I have this case and thought it was okay. But I got an otter box commuter case ( blue) to go with my 14 pro max. The clear plastic MagSafe one was a bit too slippery and didn't really feel like it protected the phone. I like that the otter box on has protection for the bottom and lighting port.

I will keep the clear MagSafe case just as a backup.

The link below is the one that I got from Best Buy. I had a gift card and only paid 17 bucks for it.
