Early Mac OS actually looks really good in monochrome.
You know, that makes me want to throw System 7 onto a Mac and run it in black-and-white mode.
I have a high-rez greyscale LCD. OS X looks OK-ish on it with “Reduce transparency”, “Increase contrast” and a solid dark grey background. But it’s not quite the sameMakes me wanna run MacOSX in B&W

Seem to remember there was one theme like that (from the same author ?) that was free at one point.

I've just bought the theme and the icons are just big (1216×1216-pixel) PNG files so I don't see why they wouldn't work on, say, Leopard.
I’m totally fine with compensating someone — appropriately — for their time and effort. Free is always great thoughI wouldn’t have dared selling my NeXTSpirit or Re-Platinum icons themes… Thinking most are just Hires versions of icons someone else did (though it was lotta work) . When I see this, I really feel like a p… poor business man
The classic Mac’s "high-rez" black-n-white mode makes games look quite... interestingAnd Dark Castle of course... Each screen is art. But very difficult game
