The weird thing is there are good displays. It's a matter of finding it. I personally feel as if the Samsung screems produce the best colors, its just a matter of finding one that is uniform in color and doesn't have a yellow tint. From personal trail and error I feel as if the new LG screens by nature have a bit of a yellow/warmer glow to them. That should probably be addressed in the future.

I went through 6 devices with different issues and definitely think I have one of the store model screens. :D

What happens to all the defective rMBP's? I assume they are returned to the the factory and disassembled with the offending parts removed and discarded. But are the remaining parts refitted and sold as new (refurbished)?:confused:

I think the parts are sent to countries where consumer rights are more relaxed, e.g., Brazil.
