I bought an Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Trackpad with the hopes of using my MacBook Air as a desktop when hooked to an external monitor but I find using my Windows laptop to be a little more user friendly when it comes to the dual monitor setup. So I've decided to use my MacBook Air solely as a portable laptop.

Does Apple charge a restocking fee when it comes to opened accessories? Also, can I have the option of getting store credit? I used one of those Amex gift cards to purchase the items so it will be a headache getting the money back on that card.

Absolutely no restocking fees (even if it's opened), and yes, you can just request an in-store gift card as a refund option.
