I have a feeling Apple hasn't learned from the Vision Pro's pricing misstep and will overprice this one, too, pricing themselves out of the market.

I think the 2027 foldable will be a flip phone branded as the new iPhone Mini.

The folding iPhone will be especially over priced for what it is and how long the hinge lasts will be the issue du jour for many. A flat slab iPhone has at least one less point of major failure as compared to the vaporware "folding" iPhone.

Hopefully Apple does not discontinue the slab iPhones to force sales.

The iPhone Air is another recent idea that has not been a huge success. I got one as a temporary devoice while the insurance company took two weeks to replace my iPhone 17 Pro Max 2TB. It does the basic job of making and receiving calls just fine. Some of the other functions are just okay. The overall size is close to the size of my iPhone 17 Pro Max and the thinness is of concern when putting the Air into a pocket as to whether is can withstand the bending pressures from my leg moving.
