I feel bad for those who have to suffer the stigma of being in a second wave release country. I think U2 should release a charity single to raise awareness of their plight.

Just wondering... Was there a bunch of Asian people in line at Apple stores in the 2nd wave launch countries? You know, ones buying 2 phones, for "family members?"

Should order from NZ, will get my 6 + quicker than "?" from a CBD Telstra (Think ATT + Verizon) store.

Despite being first in line (for one) they had no 6+ 128gb Space Grey on launch day and a week later still haven't received any in stock. Crazy!

Just placed our first iPhone 6 order this morning for our recruitment rewards program on MeraJobb.se. 5-7 days for a Gold iPhone 6 16GB to one of our happy users.

Gothenburg, Sweden.

EDIT: And now our second - Space Grey iPhone 6 16GB - still 5-7 days.

iPhone 6 and 6 plus are not released in top 2 countries in population.
China and India. 2.5 billion in population.

But released in below countries. I can understand the 'bend' but not this logic...

Isle of Man: 85K population :eek:
Austria : 1.8 million....:eek::eek:

Austrian population is wrong, completely...its more like 8.1 than 1.8...

Secondly, the Isle of Man is a self-governing British Crown dependancy, much the same relationship as Puerto Rico to the USA. A part of the country in all but name.

Thirdly, Apple is trying their arses off to get the phone released in China, it wasn't their choice to have it not be a part of the first wave of countries. They are having a problem getting the device licensed there.

Apple Care for iphone 6 has been removed from Portugal, and other countries.

And thats a strange move. Are they scared or not comfortable with the product not to give an extend warranty?

It would be nice if Apple took care of the backlog it created for customers ordering from cell carriers by opening it's own site 3 hours late first. I will look into other smart phone brands after this debacle.

Why? Are the people in the US more important than the rest of the world?

It seems you have some sort of an issue. I think things should be completed in an orderly fashion. You seem to want to argue about some other subject.

----------

That would only help those people who are in the first wave countries to get their phones quicker. Obviously everyone of us all arond the world would like the same, so they are just trying to keep everybody happy :) There are probably other good reasons too, like getting analytics of the demand for different models around the world so they can optimize the production.. and taking advantage of all the #bendgate etc news stories to push sales ;)

Now this seems reasonable. You, obviously, should not be posting on the internet.;) Logic and reason has no place here. :D Look at the other response to my message by Hexii. That seems to be the norm...

...baiting for arguments and arguing in general.

I'm kidding about your posting, of course, but it is refreshing to see someone post sense instead of attempting to argue for arguing's sake.

Have a nice day.

i dont know about that but i saw a bunch of Caucasian folks lined up in front of the local church. The church is hosting a charity event.

Wow.. seems like most the Apple stores are out of the iPhone 6 with any configuration.

Everything is at least 7-10 day delivery.

This phone is still flying off the shelf.

Why would they? Even the guy who bent the 6Plus (and started the who "bend gate" furore) struggled to bend the iPhone 6, and he tried really hard.

Czech republic has always been in the second wave, unfortunately we didn't make it this year. The third wave will start on October 3rd, hopefully.

Well, I'd rather my phone be here sooner, but I'm glad that even though we're the first in line, not everyone has to wait on us to get our demands met. :)

Then again, why remove AppleCare options only from iPhone?

Why not ask them? If it was for a reason like bending, it wouldn't only be removed in one small market, it would be in all the countries.

iPhone 6+ Shipping

when I ordered my iPhone 6+ 64GB a couple weeks back the ship date was originally 10/21. Last week it moved to 10/17. Today I received an email that it had been shipped and will arrive 9/29! Is this typical.

Yes,

I always receive my purchases before the first quoted time.

Mine wasn't coming until November (11/2 - 11/29). Just got an email that it will be here tomorrow. Of course, no one will be at home tomorrow to get it...
