Apple's annual four-day Black Friday through Cyber Monday shopping event went live today in many countries, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the U.K., and others. During the event, which lasts until December 2, customers can get an Apple gift card with the purchase of an eligible product.

Apple's Black Friday deals are available through its online store, app, and retail locations, but they don't apply to refurbished items or education pricing. This is one of Apple's few direct discount events, but third-party retailers like Amazon typically offer better deals. Apple isn't offering gift cards on the new MacBook Pro, Mac mini, and iMac models unveiled last month, or any other products not listed above. Apple's terms and conditions provide more details.

The gift cards being offered work across Apple's entire products and services ecosystem, from hardware purchases to digital services like Apple Music, App Store content, and iCloud+ storage. But for deal-hunters, checking authorized resellers may yield bigger savings on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and accessories than going directly through Apple.

It'd be nice if that offer included anything I actually wanted to buy. 😢

Is anyone discounting 2TB M4 MBPs? There used to be this one seller that always had discounts on BTO Macs. I can't remember who they were and I don't think they're around anymore as I haven't seen the likes of them in years.

Not including the newer products is just nasty work by the Apple penny pinching department.

Hmmm. I bought an iPad 10th gen for a gift. And I got charged for the gift card. I thought I get that $50 and not have to pay for it. Am I mistaken?

I bought the Apple TV and it said it would deliver Monday, Dec 2 via Express Delivery for free shipping. But the order status says Dec 2 - 9 via Express Delivery. I’m hoping that is just a holdover and they’ll get it to me on Monday, because otherwise I would have ordered it to pick up in store tonight or over the weekend. This will have me checking my order status more often than normal (if that’s possible😇) to see if it’s moving to me as I expect.

Great deals, pay full price and then give more of your money to Apple when your got card doesn’t cover the full cost of whatever your next purchase is.

Would have liked to see this offer in my country too. Apple should have gift card offer for the new iPhone 16 series and Series 10 watch also. The new MacBook Pro is also not having it. Looks like all the new products do not have the offer.

Are you Education store purchases eligible?
I can only speak regarding the IPad Pro 13 inch, WiFi base model, but choosing to NOT use the Education Store with Apple Card Financing WILL include the gift card, but it is deducted from the total. Choosing to use the Education Store, you get your standard discount with NO gift card included in the total…. Guess they don’t want us to double dip on the discounts

When they say the event last until Dec 2nd, does this mean, the end of the day on Monday (dec 2nd) or the end of the day Dec 1st??
