We are Apple. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated. Your life as an Android is now over. From this time forward, you will service us. Competition is irrelevant. Individuality is irrelevant. We will add your technological & creative distinctiveness to our own. Lower your defenses and prepare for assimilation. :D

The toroid shape is not "green" per se, given the comparatively large surface area. But look at the weather patterns for Cupertino--only abut a 40º swing from January to June temps. It would make no sense to build that in Minneapolis where summers can stay in the 80s-90s and winters hover close to zero in January.

If you were after thermal insulation, minimal surface area, and resistance to natural disasters such as fires and earthquakes, you'd go with a monolithic dome. But they're not nearly as "sexy" as a giant glass spaceships.

Your rant is a little excessive. I'm not sure why you think you know where good ideas come from. What good idea have you ever had? Wait, I thought Samsung got rid of the paid reviewers. Did you not get the memo? Seriously though, as another poster stated, You will never get to see this building anyway. Much ado about nada. I'm not sure why you think this design is a personal insult to you. It's just a building. I think it looks nice. Maybe not he most practical, but who cares.

Cursed with good taste. And a dislike of spaceship buildings of any sort. I am right of course. You have seen those extreme home shows...there is always one UFO house. It always sucks. Right? Of course.

Steve had great taste, like his yacht for example, but the ring building sucks.

Nah, all Apple stuff. Just bought a Mini and will buy a phone or Pad as soon as I know that passwords are dead and gone forever, the ring thing Space Kadets allude to here.

However, since I can be bought for enough money, the idea of sending emails from home while making enough to buy a new MP, a large retina monitor and of course a Tesla is intriguing. Does some Korean guy wearing black show up with a bag of money? How does that work? Lemme know.

Jobs said in his biography that it was originally spooked to be 3 circles intersecting, but his son said it kinda looked like genitalia. He initially disagreed, but said it couldn't be 'unseen' so he changed it haha
