The special-edition Nike Powerbeats Pro 2 are now available to order on Apple.com in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K., and a handful of other countries. These headphones are the same as the regular Powerbeats Pro 2, except they have a two-tone design consisting of black and Nike's signature Volt neon green-yellow color.

Aside from the Nike-focused design, these are the same ‌Powerbeats Pro‌ 2 that were introduced last year, with the signature Powerbeats wraparound earhooks for stability, Active Noise Cancelling with Transparency mode, built-in heart rate monitoring, and up to 45 hours of battery life when tapping into the charging case to recharge.

Powerbeats Pro 2 are essentially a fitness-focused alternative to the AirPods Pro 3.

Nike showed off the headphones in an ad starring NBA superstar LeBron James.

In the U.S., pricing is set at $249.99, in line with the regular Powerbeats Pro 2. Apple is currently showing a March 24 delivery date.

Have you tried bone conduction headphones? I hear great things about Shokz.

It’s wild how Beats is still successfully running as an independent brand. I bet at this point nobody under 25 even knows they're owned by Apple (or has heard of Dr. Dre).

Never owned any beats, but I am kinda tired of my AirPods coming lose or falling out when running.. I don't want/like sealed ear-canal buds, though. I get the drumming sound in head when foot-striking.
Been there before. I had the same "thump thump thump" even when trying the foam squishy ones that fill out your canal. The only ones that worked for me was with the ear hooks, like these ones. I don't run anymore and this was a long time ago... not an issue now so I rock airpod pros as a daily. 😵‍💫

Phew, we’re at the end of another week of Apple innovating with the greatest pipeline ever! Who is excited for what Apple has in store next week? I, for one, can’t wait to see what Apple takes to a whole new level with ALL NEW game-changing features in the best-in-class devices that are truly for pros.

But seriously, I’ve never understood why Apple announces and then delays orders for a new color.

Same here. I get that even just walking and is very uncomfortable. 🥲

Same for me. I’m hoping these drop down to $150-$175 soon and I’ll grab a pair.
Normally these collaborations are limited releases low stock items so its highly unlikely but not impossible that they drop to that price range. Maybe the non Nike version will fall to that price on sales or places like Woot.

I have the Powerbeats 2 because of the ear hooks, I initially thought they would be harder to lose. I only recently moved over to the Pro3 and found a major difference in
1. Material quality. Comparing them side to side, the beats look like cheap toys. The box in particular has a lot of play
2. Strangely the “find my” function is very different on the beats. I thought that it was normal for them to rarely report their locations. I sometimes get weeks old location on the app even though I have been using them everyday. I actually already lost a pair of Powerbeats without any ability to know where I lost them because the location far predated the last location I remember having used them. The AirPods seem to wake up and send location like an AirTag.
3. Without being particularly uncomfortable, the beats over long periods of wearing would eventually hurt my ears. The AirPods do not.
4. Lacks adaptive ANC mode.

Given the price, the AirPods are a much better deal.

Give Bose Ultra Open earbuds a try. They kinda clip onto the outer part of your ear and then project the sound into your ear, but super comfortable, won’t fall off, and let you hear sound around you which is great for situational awareness when out on a run. Lots of color options available on Amazon. I’ve used a pair for almost a year now, on my ears about six hours a day at work, forget I’m even wearing them sometimes. https://amzn.to/4t2Q4H6

Tried Beats a longtime ago thinking the over ear ring would hold them in place as the Apple version just fell out a lot. They were uncomfortable and were returned.

So music for me with ear phones is only Bose headsets that I have had versions of for decades it seems. Just checked and I am one generation behind. Will upgrade this summer before our international trip as airline equipment, even in business class, leaves much to be desired.....

I’m extremely unfond of “pods” myself. Never liked the wired ones and have never bothered with the AirPods. I used to have the Backbeat Fit by Plantronics. Speakers set just inside the ear and held on by a headgear that connected the two and wrapped behind the head. I don’t believe they make this line anymore, but they might have suited you well. Something to chew on in case anyone is making something conparable. Today I have the last gen PowerBeats Pro and am happy with these. I’m not a runner so I’m not sure how these compare to AirPods in terms of the drumming sound as the foot hits the ground. As a vigorous walker, I can say I don’t have that issue.

Good that there is no extra price for this special edition. I prefer AirPods type wireless headphones and won't be buying one.

I used to but when I run I turn off the Noise cancellation. But I use beats for running and cycling because of the over the ear security.

Yep, me too

This is why I still use AirPods 2 with after market silicone ear tip hold them in the ear things.

Works sensationally.

OneCut 5 Pairs Silicone Ear Tips...
