Apple could lose half their customers and the stock would still go up.... 🙄
Casino Royale 👑

The dip to $108 and also 116 was your chance. Unless there is a market meltdown, it likely will not return to those levels.

As I said earlier in the thread I was a buyer at those levels. If you think there will never be a dip you must not think the stock will go any higher. Stocks always go up and down so there is always a dip. Let’s say for example it dips to $125 or $130 that’s the next level I think would be a good chance to buy. I am not interested in owning a few shares and impressing myself with a 10 bagger. I also buy some of those dips to use as trading vehicles. There is always a dip on the way up.

You just keep buying all those new devices out of your own pocket, and I'll sit back and buy a new miniLED 16" MacBook with this quarter's share dividends 😎

Seems like a waste. I would make sure my shares were in a ROTH IRA and use DRIP.

The support was $125. Thats the split adjusted value. Its possible that when they report, there will be a dip because of shorts etc....but I think if the report positive the price will stabilize. Now, if we have another market fall...then all things are possible.

so wtf are you asking?
I was not actually asking you anything. You chimed in and I dont find that PE is a good measure of anything unless its combined with other considerations. Many here make bold statement based on nothing substantial. I wanted "djcerla's" supporting information.

as in the bold statements you make in response to other peoples post with substantial information?

That's definitely wise, and I know some startup colleagues who do that.

I live in the UK though, the closest scheme we have to what the US has called an 'ISA'. I just cashed out to buy my first home with one, and am using a second to save for cashing out when I hit 60.

In the meantime, I've got a bunch of BTC, AAPL and TSLA from time ago that's serving me well for now whilst I figure out my next moves.

(That, and I only really buy any Apple product if what I have is on its last legs. Just my 2¢s but why people buy new devices every year is beyond me, it's consumerism at its worst. Who am I to tell people what to do though, and it does mean that people like you and I benefit out of it 😆)

I don’t think the Apple story is close to over, but I have to point out just how right I was when I started pounding the table that Apple was severely undervalued 6 years ago.

Every time the stock was down, I told people to buy. Remember when Apple stopped reporting unit sales? People lost it. I remember buying a large amount of shares that day. Still have them. It was trading at split adjusted $50 then.

He/she's referring to the annual dividend increase, not the announcement of the quarterly dividend.
Got it. I thought most companies declared the amount quarter by quarter, and didn't necessarily set the amount for the entire year So I assumed they could raise or lower it at any earnings announcement.

You're right about that. It could theoretically change, or not change, at any time. We're just going off of what Apple has been doing for the last few years.
