Great. Another year of a lack of creativity from Apple. Kinda hard to blame Cook at this point, I suppose, if the customer base is going to continue to devour every mediocre offering Apple throws out. Next year maybe we'll be treated to Apple's new plant-based plastic frame Pro and Pro Max, offering never before heard of light weight architecture in a durable design. The benefits of zero-carbon plastic will far outshine any metal phone until at least 2027! If it wasn't for PETA, they would even release a new portable Hamster Wheel charging station allowing you to have your pet and generate, too!

It’s so funny to me how tech bloggers and some finance bros keep mentioning how Apple is behind on AI and it never seems to matter. AI has its uses in enterprise but most people just don’t care about it. I’m a fan of tench, certainly not a deeply invested kind, but I like it as a hobby and I barely use AI because it’s not that useful. It seems pretty clear it’s a bubble whereas Apple keeps making solid hardware that sells.

And yet Apple’s software is at an all-time low in terms of quality control and user-friendliness.

Tim Cook is at an all-time high in terms of mediocrity and lack of innovation.
Thai makes me realise people are still buying iPhones for the status instead of the functionality

There was some chatter this morning that sales in China of the new phone releases are accelerating ahead of the last years release. The market had priced in some slowdown of China sales earlier this year. Likely pricing some of that back in. Remember stock prices are always pricing in future results, and, can be very emotional and not logical...

It's noteworthy how Apple benefits from certain enterprise verticals while spending little or no money to establish and grow market share. For example, the iPad quickly ate into the market for bespoke touchpanels in conference rooms, and some videowalls and lecture halls have been running Apple TV since at least 2015. And Apple didn't have to spend a dime exhibiting at InfoComm or ISE, or advertising in the pro AV trades.

No. People buy them because they’re the best. That’s an excuse people use when they can’t comprehend why the iPhone does so well.

Step out of your bubble into the real world and stop listening to the vocal minority always screaming how bad Apple is.

People who constantly hate on Apple are often stunned by this or by record iPhone sales and chalk it up to “sheep” that will buy anything Apple makes.

The critics always conveniently ignore the competition as if Apple operates in a vacuum. For example, the iPhone Air is reportedly outselling the iPhone mini and iPhone Plus where the Samsung S26 Edge will be discontinued.

Time for Tim Apple to stand aside has his tenure has not been a success. There's not been a successful new product line which didn't come from the Steve playbook.

And yet there are people who say Tim Cook is a failure as CEO.

His #1 job is this and he is highly successful at it.
You are correct Sad but true, at the expense of the customers. There seems to be no reason to keep a company in business anymore just squeeze as much from it then throw it to the flames. Apple is at the top of this hill now, let’s see how long they can make it last.
