The main sentiment I've seen about the Neo ads is that Apple doesn't feel like they're selling you a product, they're just showing something cool and you inherently want it.
So gratification (pleasure seeking), competition (domination over peers), and utility maximization (monotonicity). The kids are (rationally and evolutionarily) all right. Certainly better than the recent prior generations...Gen Z cares about three things: gooning, mogging and maxxing.
