Just scratch out the word bad.
They're video glasses, and they already exist, just not with this specific design. Google Glass has a completely different function. The only similarity is that you wear it over your eyes.
In case nobody noticed, you can't see anything other than the video input while you're wearing these unless it also lets you see when there's no video input.

Have you ever worn contacts while staring at a computer screen? Some prescriptions are ridiculously unpleasant.
Most use porn as a sad, sad, lonely substitute for human connection when not dating anyone. The day you spend hundreds of dollars on a "porn enhancer".... you may as well give up on ever finding happiness in your life.
I'm not so much interested in 3D goggles because they require the user to have constant focus when clearly it changes in a 3d film.
What i think the tech actually needs is the opposite of the lytro camera, when you can focus at any point in the frame depth wise and see in focus. It would be very difficult but not impossible to achieve though getting content that was 100% in focus to begin with would need a lytro style camera as well.
Oh well, these are the dreams of the future.

Where did you get your info? Google glass isn't even out yet and they have a lineup of people waiting to buy it. I and in that line. The googles look stupid and are only good if youre at home.
The glasses with HUD are every nerds dream come true. (Yes Im a nerd)
If apple sues Occulus Rift then they will become enemy #1 of gaming community.
I wouldn't go there.
