My script menu is not displaying 'current application' scripts at all, either top or bottom as can be seen here:

http://www.apple.com/applescript/scriptmenu/02.html

In the Applscript Utility there's a preference "show application script" top or bottom. Whatever I choose, the scripts don't appear as the do in the pic above. I get them in their folders, but not top or bottom.

any ideas?

In Tiger, application scripts are stored a little differently. There is a quick way to get to the folder the application scripts should go in. Just open the Script menu, navigate to Open Script Folder and select Open Application Name Scripts Folder. That will pop open the folder that application specific scripts should go into.
