I just purchased a Bose Solo 10 Series II. I also have an AppleTV 4. I'm trying to connect the AppleTV remote to the Bose to control the volume with no luck. I previously had a Sony soundbar that this process worked flawlessly. Has anyone had any luck doing this?

Are you using Bluetooth audio? Try it if you have been using an analogue input.

I just bought a Solo 15 (basically same unit). I haven't figured out how to make the Apple TV remote volume control work. If you figure it out let me know. I have a Sony TV, the Bose replaces my 7 speaker Sony receiver.

Aren't all the bose remotes RF not bluetooth or IR. Im pretty sure they are so they wouldn't be compatible with the bose units.

It wasn't the most straightforward, but I was able to connect my Bose Solo 15 via Bluetooth to the Apple TV. It worked, amazing, thanks!! I'm back to just one simple remote which is awesome.

How do you like the Bose soundbar? I'm torn between it and a Vizio 5.1 soundbar with rear speakers and a sub. Do you use it for music and TV?

The Solo 15 is very, very nice, as are Bose products generally. I think it will come down to your desire for surround sound. I think the Vizio supports Aptx Bluetooth and Hi Res audio but I don't think it matters at all compared to physical engineering, where Bose excels.
