My AppleTV 4K has excessive buffer times after upgrading to tvOS 26. Our network is 2Gbps fiber. The AppleTV is on the Ethernet backbone.

Previously, starting a YouTube clip or advancing through a movie or program clip gave an almost immediate response.

Now I get a two or three-second buffering with every press of Play.

Has anybody else seen this? Any ideas of a fix?

I have experienced this with other versions, but haven't noticed it with tvOS 26. Every time it's occurred previously it's been a peering issue where I had changed DNS servers (Control D, DNSFilter, NextDNS, etc.) and it was peering somewhere else. My ISP peers from a node 600 miles away from me when I use a particular DNS server.
