YouTube uses Google’s VP9 I believe... Apple uses H.265.

I'm inclined to believe that it won't support it at least for now.

I'd be fairly surprised if it doesn't get added down the line tho, it's a pretty significant oversight IMHO

look like new apple tv 4k only work for Netflix or Hulu
and those they already build in HD video,

YouTube will eventually update the app to support 4k videos.
I know it does work on my smart tv so why not on the apple tv....

Should i buy apple tv 4k if my TV does allow stream when i watching youtube ??? there is little icon bottom i can shoot out to tv zoom
