AppleTV and projector

Anyone has experience with using the AppleTV with a projector? In particular, i have a BenQ W700 projector which is HD-ready(1280-720px).

And:
Is there a new version of the AppleTV in the makes?

I use the Apple TV regularly with the BenQ W1070 projector. It works perfectly.

I use a third generation Apple TV with the Mitsubishi HC4000. I'm quite happy with it.
