Like the subject says, the AppleTV does in fact work in SD with TVs that have component inputs.
BUT, keep in mind on a 4:3 set things will look squished. So, its not the best solution. Your better off getting a wide screen.
Anyway, I said I was going to post the results of my setup ... and everything worked perfect. This thing rocks! 😛
