So who is going to brave this one first? Any horror / success stories?

I rely on my ATVs for all my media consumption, and currently 7.0.2 works fine for me. However, my nerd urge to have the latest and greatest might overcome this practicality.

Not me. 7.0.2 introduced a bug whereby the ATV would wake up in a very confused network state if it went to sleep with the Ethernet cable plugged in. I'll wait to hear if that's fixed before risking more calamity.

Updating now. From what I can tell, it appears to be just a bunch of security patches.

UPDATE: No problem to report....

Nothing's any worse (or better) than it was before on either of my ATV3s.

Still getting issues with both "not seeing" the Home Sharing from my Mac Mini once in a while.

Since I updated, I cannot play fox now (just keeps loading) and ESPN works, but disconnects after about 10-15 min of watching. netflix and the other apps i use work fine.

Noticed the update on my 3rd generation ATV this past Friday. What I hate is that it didn't describe as to what updates it came with.

Was waiting for someone here to inform us.

i think this update might have caused my apple tv to do the "go to sleep and not remember its connected to a network" I can't wake it up by using my phone

Do you get the indefinate loop in which it says that it is connecting and goes on forever?
