Since australian apple stores are now open, people are posting a bunch of pictures of the apple watch and i'm sure the #applewatch will just continue to get better. seeing some pics of the space grey are making me reconsider it.

Indeed. Was going off others saying the 38mm was too small I am rethinking. My current watch is a 40mm.
I agree. I held up thru the Apple Store app to my wrist and it doesn't look as bad. Some of those people must have some small wrists.
I am loving these pics people are posting. A lot more of the Sport since the U.S. reviewers mainly got SS. I am thinking Sport rather than SS now.
By not sizing these on peoples wrists properly there are a lot of unflattering photos of the watch and how it sits on the wrist. Makes some of the bands look awkward as well.
While the 42mm case may look like it fits on a 150mm wrist such as mine, wouldn't the band be wound up all the way to its smallest whole (for a sport band)? Or for a Milanese loop wouldn't the extra band wrap up to around the case itself? It just looks unsightly when I picture it in my head. Sorry for the poor wording.
A couple people on this forum that have tried them on say the photos are misleading.
Thats good to know. My wrist is around 175-178mm. Im leaning towards the 42mm, but seeing some of those pics, Im not sure.

Search for Apple Watch size chart on Google. The first result is to the official Apple PDF. Sorry I can't get it currently because I'm using Tapatalk on mobile or I would. The sport model comes with two size bands, and shows you what size wrists it'll fit.
Just trying it on, no?

The milanese loop is looking great!!! I wonder how it would look with a silver sport. These photos aren't making my decision any easier.
Like a spoiled kid needs a $10,000+ watch. Give them one that comes out of a cereal box for crying out loud. That watch will be hammered by the next gen.

Yeah, I was originally Milanese 42 SS, thought about the Sport 42 Space Grey, but that shot of the Milanese and the quote "they should make underwear out of this stuff" really solidified my original plan. Probably pick up a black band eventually.
That is because, contrary to strangely popular belief, wrist width varies hugely from person to person, even moreso than circumference, and width is what matters for this ... concern.
