I was hoping to delete this program... but I have ONE appleworks db file I use...

seems I cant export it to anything but text... so thats not much help I dont guess?

looks like im stuck using this program just for one file? Nothing else would allow me to open, edit, save it... other than text format.

hmm, could it be converted to a filemaker pro db?

FileMaker will be able to open the exported text file, but you will have to recreate all of the layouts.
