Hey,

I need to make a presentation for school, and was just wondering how exactly you add effect to images and text (fade, fly in, etc.). Thank you.

I don't think you can. The presentation module in AppleWorks is pretty primitive. I don't suppose most AppleWorks users even know that it exists.
