Application for altering/adding fake text messages to your logs?

I want to be able to create new fake texts and alter existing ones. For novelty purposes of course. I know there's an app that does this for call history (albeit poorly) but something for SMS would be great. TIA

You could probably use some of those steps to inject fake messages to sms.db
