I love having the Applications icon inside my dock on my MacBook, but it has never appeared on my G5 Tower at home.

How can I add the Applications icon to my dock? Just dragging it down doesn't work.

Thanks :D

Open the application. When it shows up on your dock, click and hold on the icon. A menu will pop up from the icon. One of the options is "keep in dock" - select that and you're good! (dontcha hate it when there easy :D).

Thanks for the post! I'm not sure, but I think you may have given me advice on how to get a single application to appear on the dock.

I want the whole applications folder to be on my dock. This guy here-

Is that possible? :)

Click on the harddrive icon on your desktop and it'll open Finder. Drap the Applications folder down to the dock.

Done!

Oh, and it will only dock on the right-hand side - try to the left of the trash. Pulling it almost below the dock will cause the trash icon to move and make way for the app folder.
