Hi,

So I have a new 27" iMac, 3.1 GHz processor and I installed a game on it and the first time I tried to open it, it just went to a black screen, except my mouse was still there and I could move it around and such. I couldn't back out, swipe to my other desktop, or quit the application through cmmd esc. I had to do a hard shut down then when I went back into my profile, all the apps that were running are all open again, including the game that essentially crashes my mac. I try to quickly force quit the app but it doesn't work, it just opens up less than a minuet after logging into my account. I have other accounts on my computer, one of which is another admin, but that account is my primary for my mac, so I need to use that one. Does anyone know if there is a way to boot up without any applications running? I get the warning when I go to log into my account that says something along the lines of an application caused your computer to crash, do you want to open the application? if not wait 60 seconds... or something like that and I wait and the application still opens. Any help would be fantastic!

Thanks that did the trick, btw it was skyrim cider wrap w/ a mod that I tried to attach, the mod was what messed it up. Anyways thanks a ton.
