It seems that I am having a problem with the canon's program for using the canon scanner.

A strange problem.

I open the program(not quite sure if this is 'driver'), I make scans, I quit it.
Then, when I try to open it once again, I get a message 'failed to load driver'.
The only way to run it again, is restarting the whole mac osx.

I have leopard, I installed latest versions of canon applications.

The reason I post such a question here is that I am suspect that something like a process do not work well.

I suppose that maybe, if I could know which process is still running after quiting the application, I could kill it and run it properly.

I have bad experience posting questions to several companies helpdesks, so this would be a generic but effective solution if I am right. Just avoiding restarting mac (not these 'windows' stories again) and make the program run.

How can I find which services are 'attached' or called or used by an .app application?

Application monitor is so useful.
I can see the application.
But if i list all processes the how can I say if a specific process stuck my scanner?

I am waiting your help.
