"Applications" folder i dock is gone, how do I get it back?

Someone used my mac, and now the applications folder (right side of dock) is gone, how do I get it back?

apple is big on the drag and drop

How do I get the same "A" shaped, blue folder back (applications)?

click on the little finder icon in your dock, click the hard drive icon under Devices (Macintosh HD or something is what it's called), and then click that application folder and drag it onto your dock.

OK, thanks, and then I just right clicked the folder in my dock and chose display as "Folder", that gets the blue folder look back as well.
